Nace en 1972 en Suardi, en la provincia de Santa Fe, Argentina.
Cursa estudios en la escuela de arte Profesor Juan Mantovani.
Luego se dedica exclusivamente a pintar en su taller, realizando exposiciones y participando del movimiento artístico de la ciudad.
En 1999 se traslada Buenos Aires, dedicándose, en paralelo, a la ilustración profesionalmente y continuando con el desarrollo de su obra hasta la actualidad, profundizando en la disciplina y buscando fundamentalmente quien es el mismo en tanto pintor, intentado seguir desarrollando su particularidad, su mirada con la esperanza de que esto tenga valor y sentido para sí mismo y para los demás.
En 2001 conoce al Guillermo Roux quien lo recibe muy favorablemente y lo confirma y alienta en su camino, concurre algunas veces a su taller de enseñanza en almagro.
En 2002 conoce al escultor Antonio Pujía de quien se hace amigo visitándolo repetidas veces en su taller de floresta barrio en el que Antonio vive y trabaja.
En 2005 recibe la Beca para jóvenes artistas de la Fundación Nuevo Banco de Santa Fe.
En 2007 junto a un escultor y un programador de web obtienen una mención en el área interdisciplinaria del premio macstation paradigma digital.
En 2008 tiene el honor de exponer una serie de pinturas que ilustran distintos pasajes del infierno de Dante en el Auditorio Dionisio Petriella de la Asociación Dante Alighieri de Buenos Aires.
En 2009 es invitado a participar como artista de la Besharat Art Gallery, USA, y realiza una muestra en la Galería Perro Verde de Buenos Aires.
En 2015 resulta seleccionado en XCII SALÓN DE MAYO del Museo Rosa Galisteo de Rodriguez y recibe el tercer premio del XIX Salón primavera de la AAPS y el trecer premio en el 10º SALON PINTURA REGION CENTRO "Salvador Massa".
En 2016 resulta ganador del primer premio en el 93 Salón de Mayo del Museo Rosa Galisteo de Rodriguez.
En 2019 recibe el primer premio en el 12º Salón de Pintura "Salvador Massa" y realiza una exposición individual de su obra en el "Museo Municipal Sor Josefa Díaz y Clucellas". Santa Fe ciudad.
Martin Bustamante was born in 1972 in Suardi, Santa Fe province, Argentina.
He studied at the art school "Professor Juan Mantovani".
Upon then he dedicated exclusively to painting in his atelier, performing exhibitions and participating in the city’s artistic movement.
In 1999 he moved to Buenos Aires city and worked both as a professional illustrator and as an artist. From then on he continued to develop his art, deepening his exploration in the discipline and trying to find his fundamental identity as a painter. He worked on developing his own vision and uniqueness, with a strong feeling that this has value and meaning for the world and for himself.
In 2001 he met Guillermo Roux (great Argentinian master) who received him very favorably and helped and encouraged him on his way. He also attended some of his teaching workshops in Almagro.
In 2002 he met the sculptor Antonio Pujía (another great Argentinian master, sculptor), with whom he developed a friendship, visiting him often his atelier.
In 2005 he received the scholarship for young artists of the ‘‘New Bank of Santa Fe Foundation’’.
In 2007 together with a sculptor and web programmer he got a mention in the interdisciplinary area of the MacStation digital paradigm award.
In 2008 he had the honor of presenting a series of paintings that illustrate different passages of Dante's Inferno in the Dionisio Petriella Auditorium of the Dante Alighieri Association of Buenos Aires.
In 2009 he was invited to participate as an artist at the Besharat Art Gallery, USA, and performed a show at the Galería Perro Verde in Buenos Aires.
In 2015 he was selected in XCII SALÓN DE MAYO of the ‘‘Rosa Galisteo de Rodriguez Museum’’ and received the third prize of the XIX Spring Salon of the AAPS and the third prize in the 10º SALON PINTURA REGION CENTRO "Salvador Massa".
In 2016 he won the first prize in the 93 Salón de Mayo of the ‘‘Rosa Galisteo de Rodriguez Museum’’.
In 2019 he won the first prize in the 12º Salón de Pintura "Salvador Massa" and got an individual expo of his work in the ”Museo Municipal Sor Josefa Díaz y Clucellas". Santa Fe city.
